Rancho Los Alamitos Long Beach is a historic site about 85,000-acre and part of a massive Spanish land grant in 1784 and today serves as a living history museum consists of six agricultural buildings, working blacksmith shop, glorious gardens and a rambling adobe ranch built in 1800. This is one of the few truly historic and nice homes in the area that is still standing and in very good condition. It also encourages certain site uses such as painting and photography classes, horticulture tours and observations. The main entrance has an area with photos and a very interesting video about the history of this land.
