Rancho Los Alamitos Long Beach is a historic site about 85,000-acre and part of a massive Spanish land grant in 1784 and today serves as a living history museum consists of six agricultural buildings, working blacksmith shop, glorious gardens and a rambling adobe ranch built in 1800. This is one of the few truly historic and nice homes in the area that is still standing and in very good condition. It also encourages certain site uses such as painting and photography classes, horticulture tours and observations. The main entrance has an area with photos and a very interesting video about the history of this land.

Terminal Island Long Beach is an island located in Los Angeles County between the Port of Los Angeles and Long Beach Harbor. The main and major parts of the Port are on Terminal Island renamed in 1891, originally known as Isla Raza de Buena Gente. Later on in the 20th century, the island played host to a thriving fish industry and would produce 80 percent of the United States’ tuna supply.

Terminal Island Long Beach captures about 200 acres in size and water depth is about 50 feet. Island is connected to the mainland via four bridges from west, the exclusively green Vincent Thomas Bridge joins terminal with San Pedro and is the fourth longest suspension bridge in California. The Gerald Desmond Bridge connects to downtown Long Beach to the east and to north Commodore Schuyler F. Heim Bridge joins with the Wilmington. Adjacent to this bridge is a rail bridge called the Henry Ford Bridge or the Badger Avenue Bridge. The island also hosts canneries, shipyards, Coast Guard facilities.

The Long Beach Pediwagon is a 14 person group bike that operates throughout Long Beach, CA. It is perfect for Pub crawls, bachelor & bachelorette parties, family reunions and many more. Naples Island is a neighborhood of Long Beach, California, built on a series of islands located in Alamitos Bay. Naples consists of three separate islands, divided by canals which open into the bay. Most of the streets on the island have Italianate names. The center of Naples features a large fountain which serves as a popular meeting spot.
